Open Water Course
The PADI Open Water Diver certfication is the most recognized diver certification in the dive industry and will allow you to dive anywhere in the world, independent of professional supervision, to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet. And it is valid for life.

On your arrival here in Costa Rica, after meeting your instructor, you will review your academics with a quick quiz. It’s then off to the onsite pool (no traveling here!) where you will learn and practice all of your scuba diving skills. From buoyancy to safety we will practice it all.
Finally, ocean here we come! Off to the pacific ocean to complete your 4 open water dives over 2 days. You will head out on our custom built scuba diving boat to the Manuel Antonio National Park where under the watchful eye of your instructor you will practice your skills and get to explore the underwater word. After completing your exciting dives, its back to shore , where you will fill out your log book, and receive your certification. Now, where to dive next ?!
So, after all that you are a fully certified scuba diver! So let’s go! With our new onsite accommodation and pool facilities we can make your experience even more fun with everything right on your doorstep. General course information:
- Duration: 2 ½ days
- Number of Dives: Five Confined Water Dives and Four Open Water Dives
- Prerequisites: 10 years old. Good health, reasonable fitness and basic swimming abilities
- Learning materials included: PADI dive tables (RDP) and logbook
- Equipment rental provided: mask, fins, snorkel, tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator, submersible pressure gauge and 3mm wetsuit.
- Free dive insurance included throughout your open water course.
