This can be completed as a internship or a condensed course, depending on your prerequisites and requirements. Following that, your next step would be the PADI instructor program, the IDC. This is a 10 day program that focuses on breaking down and teaching all of the PADI syllabus. Once qualified after completing a PADI instructor Exam, you are eligible to start teaching PADI courses anywhere in the world.[one_half]You can take your career even further here in Costa Rica though. We are the most complete technical dive center in the country, offering both backmount, sidemount, DSAT Tec Rec and TDI dive courses. On the recreational side of things you can complete your PADI Specialty instructor training in a wide variety of disciplines. From Enriched Air training and search and recovery to Naturalist, night and AWARE-shark conservation, one of our newest additions to the selection of programs here in Costa Rica. Work towards your MSDT (Master scuba diver trainer) rating, making you a valuable asset in the dive industry with the ability to teach a variety of programs. Next step beyond that is your IDC staff instructor rating allowing you to assist on PADI IDCs and teach Assistant instructors independently.
