Macro Hunting and Frogfish finding

by admin on July 19, 2011

So with rains becoming more frequent , the diving is still going, because lets face it…you’re going to get wet anyway! We have lots of fun local trips heading out and after finishing a few open water classes this past week, all of our enthusiastic students had a great time with some even getting the chance to dive with eagle rays, (whilst trying to navigate with compasses I have to add!) With a dive heading out tomorrow, come join us this coming week and month. We have some great “green season” group discounts and if you want to learn or try diving for the first time, why wait? If you like macro hunting, its perfect timing. With lots of macro critters in the volcanic reef here like nudibranchs and crabs you won’t even notice that the viz is slightly lower, because everything you are looking at is closer to home. If you have trouble focusing on that then maybe try a buoyancy class, to perfect you macro hunting skills. You might even be lucky enough to find that elusive frog fish that has been spotted at isla Larga. I know I’m out there looking tomorrow so maybe you should too!
